Today's News. You WILL want to read this: Westminster and the WHO.
Lunch with Dr David Bell, formerly of the WHO.
On Monday Dr Bell met the All Party Parliamentary Group at Westminster considering the WHO IHR amendments, here is what transpired.
The previous Saturday my wife and I had spent a very enjoyable time with David, former lead on the WHO malaria programme. We lunched at Coal, recommended by Lucinda O’Sullivan, Ireland’s premier food correspondent, and very good it was too in my view, though only after I had negotiated my way round Dublin to a very busy Blackrock.
David has written extensively regarding the dangers of the WHO IHR amendments, available here and here-I have chosen just two articles to whet your appetite, but everyone concerned about our future should view the many others here.
He also has a broad view of public health as here and here
And if you prefer to listen: and here
Over lunch David articulated the dangers to world order of handing power to an unelected body and the corrosive effect of commercialising health care by placing too much power in the hands of external funders. He believes the WHO has lost its way and is very concerned about the direction the West appears to be travelling with the apparent reluctance of democratically elected politicians to represent the interests of those who elect them. He is very impressed by the German Euro MEP Christina Anderson who has spoken out courageously at the European parliament on human rights related to the subversion of democracy through public health, and noted disappointment that those on the left who were supposedly on the side of human rights and bodily autonomy (where he has always been) were silent now on these and bowing to big corporation, here she is with Mark Steyn.
He is also impressed by the Dutch MEP Rob Roos, here he is speaking to Ivor Cummins
He feels greed has been the driver and that many good people have also succumbed and, as a Christian, did not agree with the closure of churches so, in looking for a new church in his new home he asked them what practices they had followed during the “pandemic” and chose the one which operated most freely.
Our nearly three hour chat about world affairs also touched on Irish history, the beauty of N.Ireland, Ashes cricket -David is Australian though enjoying rodeos in his new life in Texas and the quality, or lack of, my driving-so he will be pleased and perhaps, surprised, to hear that we arrived safely back in Belfast. We also discussed John Harrison’s ball bearing clocks and the longitudinal problem. These clocks achieved an accuracy of one second in a month, far better than any clocks of the time. In order to solve the problem of longitude, Harrison aimed to devise a portable clock which kept time to within three seconds a day…..in the 1750s
I responded with Belfast Sirocco Work’s fan for tea machines exported around the world and which were also fitted to most German warships during the first world war. And Belfast’s Ship building, ropeworks and linen industry-but that’s another story!
He met the All Party Group on Pandemic response at Westminster, N.Ireland readers will note the presence of the N.Ireland MP Sammy Wilson as vice-Chair and two other N. Ireland MPs, Paul Girvan and Ian Paisley. The committee, as its title suggests is examining the government’s response to Covid. Sammy has extensive knowledge on eg the harms to children, he took copious notes on the day I met him and he is one of the few (i.e 2 ) elected representatives to respond to my weekly correspondence re civil liberties, masks, PCR tests, school closures and I can say from my knowledge he is well versed wrt the actual science and cannot understand the course and policies of the N. Ireland Executive.
Here is the political process in Westminster.

“Examining the impact, on society as a whole, of the Government’s pandemic policy. Were the public health measures implemented proportionate to the risk?”
and what was said previously.
The meeting was well attended and positive.
SUMMARY of WHO IHR proposals
1. International Health Regulations draft Amendments:
-Expand the definitions of pandemics and health emergencies, including the introduction of ‘potential’ for harm rather than actual harm. It also expands the definition of health products that fall under this to include any commodity or process that may impact on the response or “improve quality of life”.
-Change the recommendations of the IHR from ‘non binding’ to mandatory instructions that the States undertake to follow and implement.
-Solidify the Director General’s (DG’s) ability to -
- independently declare emergencies.
-Set up an extensive surveillance process in all States, which WHO will verify regularly through a country review mechanism
-Enable WHO to share country data without consent.
-Give WHO control over certain country resources, including requirements for financial contributions, and provision of intellectual property and know-how (within the broad definition of health products above).
-Ensure national support for promotion of censorship activities by WHO to prevent contrary approaches and concerns from being freely disseminated.
-Change existing IHR provisions affecting individuals from non-binding to binding, including border closures, travel restrictions, confinement (quarantine), medical examinations and medication of individuals. The latter would encompass requirements for injection with vaccines or other pharmaceuticals.
2. CA+ (treaty):
-Set up an international supply network overseen by WHO.
-Fund the structures and processes by requiring ≥5% of national health budgets to be devoted to health emergencies.
-Set up a ‘Governing Body’, under the auspices of WHO, to oversee the whole process.
-Expand scope by emphasising a ‘One Health’ agenda, defined as a recognition that a very broad range of aspects of life and the biosphere can impact health, and therefore fall under the ‘potential’ to spread harm across borders as an international health emergency.
How about we start again, with this (not so) Great Reset by putting the needs of the world’s children and those yet to be born first, ahead of the warped desires of a thousand or so old billionaires who should know better…
Well, it's past midnight as Im reading this article. And all i can say is "What the actual fk?!?" And who do these people think they are making health policy without consulting THE PEOPLE. HELL NO... to every single item on their agenda. And they can go rot in hell or prison, which ever comes first. 😈
